Nokia 5800 Blue on O2 and Orange

O2 and Orange are both offering this super phone at a great price. The Nokia 5800 in Blue is available for free with a signed contract and low monthly payments. Either network has plans that will please most customers.

Displaying over 16 million colors, the 3.2" screen has a 16 : 9 aspect ratio. The TFT resistive touchscreen makes browsing the phone simple. Using the stylus, plectrum or finger slide, you can choose your navigation tool. Choose the alphanumeric keypad, full or mini QWERTY keyboard, or handwriting recognition to stay connected.

The Nokia 5800 is another N Series phone that makes music second only to staying connected to your contacts. And I am not so sure about that. The music player allows you to store up to 350 hours of your favorite sounds. It recognizes and plays almost all media files. An 8 Band graphic equalizer and easy volume control makes your listening even better. The stereo surround sound that is created by the world-leading speakers will give you a crystal clear sound that you will appreciate. You crave more, the FM Stereo radio with RDS lets you entertain yourself just a little bit more.

3G and Wifi gives you an incredible Internet experience. The broadband speeds on your handset gives it the feel of your home pc. Email on the go brings your business with you. Stay connected to friends through your favorite social networking site.

A 3.2 mega pixel camera allows you to take quality photos with your handset. Carl Zeiss optics, 3 x digital zoom, auto focus, and dual LED flash makes this phone a great camera as well. Video recording at speeds of 30 fps gives you tv quality video. The video recorder has 4 x digital zoom to get those close ups. With appropriate memory, you can video up to 90 minute clips.

Your internal memory is 81 MB. That is big, but Nokia has included a 8 GB memory card in the "Box". That is almost unlimited space for music, videos or tunes. However, you can expand that even bigger with a purchased 16 GB card.

I suppose now all you need is a very good battery. The Nokia 5800 delivers an impressive 8 h 45 min (2G) / 5 h (3G) talk time. Standby time is Up to 406 h (2G) / 408 h (3G). Music lovers will enjoy the 35 hours of playback time.
